Artist Statement:  Small curved verdigris leaves are sealed and paired with a simple antiqued brass hypoallergenic earwire. These earrings are just about 1 1/4" long.

Patina is a chemical reaction to raw brass. It produces beautiful and unpredictable results. Patinas are lightly sealed and may change slightly over time. They also can vary from piece to piece, from teal-blue-green to green-black-brown. Each piece is unique and variation should be expected. Jewelry is represented as accurately as possible on full scale displays.

Artist Statement:  This brooch uses two strong magnets.  One is stitched inside, and the other is for using on the back side of whatever you like to hold together.  You can use it to hold scarfs, shawls, sweaters and any other light fabric, without pinning through it.  As the magnet is very strong, you can use it as a brooch on thick jackets or bags as well.  It can also be used simply to attach notes to any metal surface,and add a floral touch to your fridge or magnetic board.  It will not fall down from any metal hair pins too.

The large central flower, with a cream pearl in the center, measures 2" across and the two small flowers are both less than 3/4 of an inch. Artist Statement:  Possibly the most loved chapter of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, Chapter 34, Mr Darcy's impromptu marriage proposal to Elizabeth Bennet.

I've taken part of Chapter 34 featuring Mr Darcy's speech and Elizabeth's reaction from a 1853 edition of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and finished it in elegant and timeless black. The words pop from the beautiful patina of brass underneath the artwork. This new design to my Jane Austen range will be just like having the Pride and Prejudice book always with you ! I'm ecstatic and proud to say you can now find my literary brass cuffs at Jane Austen's House Museum in Hampshire, England.

The brass cuff measures 1.5" tall and 5.5" round with an opening of 1.5", easily adjustable by using slight pressure once on your wrist. The brass (an alloy of zinc and copper) ages beautifully and uniquely; it will change patina over time and this is completely natural. The artwork I use is slightly translucent and the patterns you see are from the patina of the brass underneath. All protected under a sealant for extra durability but I would advise NOT to go rushing into the sea whilst wearing it or similar interactions with water.

This piece is handmade in England, United Kingdom so please allow 3-5 days before it can be shipped....things have to dry !

Arrives wrapped in non-tarnish tissue paper, gift boxed and tied with organza ribbon, completely gorgeous for gift-giving.

Artist Description:  A lovely green and terracotta orange colored felt "leaf" brooch embellished with pieces of brass zipper.  I used a warm yellow and green felt in this brooch. The approx dimensions of the brooch are 1 1/2" x 3 ". The leaf brooch is light weight and quite firm. A great accessory for any ensemble.

Artist Statement:  Black Feather Necklace hangs delicately on a gunmetal chain.

The feather is hand cut from Italian lambskin leather to imitate the look of a real black feather. Sewn with a small wire in the center, the feather is able to bend and flex to the desired shape.

The necklace has an adjustable closure in the back.
The length is 16" but can be adjusted up to 20".

This can be easily worn with a pair of jeans or dressed up with a LBD (little black dress).

Artist Statement:  The Foks is a fox-shaped scarf, designed by Celapiu and made entirely by hand in our studio.

The Fokses originally come in two different species: The Short Foks is just long enough to wrap himself around your neck and take desired position using a special clip, hidden underneath his head. The Long Foks has a stuffed, fully 3D head and paws and is long enough to wrap himself around you in hundereds of different ways. In 2009 two older brothers welcomed newborn baby - The Mini Foks, which was designed for fashionable and animal-loving kids (but can be worn by adults, too!). The Madhatter Top Hat

Artist Statement:  I know you love the Madhatter as much as I do! This gorgeous lady's full size top hat is made from scratch using buckram and wire construction. I've used this mezmerising turquoise dupioni silk shantung, adorned with a striking black tullle with huge white dots, which ties in a luxurious bow at the back and flows over your hair! Three beautiful hat pins give that extra "je ne sais quoi"! Fully line with black satin. Attaches with a thin elastic to have the perfect angled look!

Safety Pin Bracelet

Well, I've had a bit of a break but Xmas is coming, the geese are getting fat and the presents ....so hard to find, aren't they?  I hope that Oohsome can provide some inspiration for you all.

The bracelet pictured above is something that I whipped up last week.  About 65 safety pins, with 4mm beads in olive, deep purple, brass, soft violet and sea green.  I had so much fun making this one that I've decided to do a few more in other colour combinations.  One tip that I can give you, instead of superglueing the pins closed, I pinched them shut after doing the threading.  They're secure, and there's no fiddling around with fast setting glue.

Artist Statement:  This cozy and soft shrug is made by a 100% white wool yarn knitted with a stylish lacy pattern... all edges are finished off with crocheted borders. You can fast it on the front with two cords which end with two little roses with a glass pearl core... play with these two flowers... you can insert the stalks in various positions and give a different look to the shrug... you can even insert the stalks in a little ring and you will have a lovely necklace to wear with the bolero or by itself.

“White Garden” is my own unique pattern... a gorgeous accent to any outfit and a perfect accessory for many occasions... you can wear it over a simple sweater for a funky style, over a blouse or a sleeveless top to warm your shoulder... it looks exquisite when worn with an evening dress and makes an exquisite accessory even for a bride or a bridesmaid.

Nocturne Necklace

Artist Statement:  This turned out so beautifully dark!

I made a chain by wire-wrapping AAA grade smooth round garnet gemstones with sterling silver wire, and created a focal drop with a giant (18mm) black onyx teardrop. The onyx is topped with a wonderfully detailed sterling silver beadcap and Bali silver star cap.

The necklace chain measures a bit over 18 inches (including the clasp). The lobster clasp is sterling silver and attaches to a closed sterling silver ring.
