Artist Statement:  Small curved verdigris leaves are sealed and paired with a simple antiqued brass hypoallergenic earwire. These earrings are just about 1 1/4" long.

Patina is a chemical reaction to raw brass. It produces beautiful and unpredictable results. Patinas are lightly sealed and may change slightly over time. They also can vary from piece to piece, from teal-blue-green to green-black-brown. Each piece is unique and variation should be expected. Jewelry is represented as accurately as possible on full scale displays.

Artist Statement:  This brooch uses two strong magnets.  One is stitched inside, and the other is for using on the back side of whatever you like to hold together.  You can use it to hold scarfs, shawls, sweaters and any other light fabric, without pinning through it.  As the magnet is very strong, you can use it as a brooch on thick jackets or bags as well.  It can also be used simply to attach notes to any metal surface,and add a floral touch to your fridge or magnetic board.  It will not fall down from any metal hair pins too.

Artist Statement:  This is a pretty headband with three of my old novel flowers, set asymmetrically on a thin steel headband. The large central flower, with a cream pearl in the center, measures 2" across and the two small flowers are both less than 3/4 of an inch. The small flowers have tiny white glass beads in the centers.

Artist Statement:  Possibly the most loved chapter of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, Chapter 34, Mr Darcy's impromptu marriage proposal to Elizabeth Bennet.

I've taken part of Chapter 34 featuring Mr Darcy's speech and Elizabeth's reaction from a 1853 edition of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and finished it in elegant and timeless black. The words pop from the beautiful patina of brass underneath the artwork. This new design to my Jane Austen range will be just like having the Pride and Prejudice book always with you ! I'm ecstatic and proud to say you can now find my literary brass cuffs at Jane Austen's House Museum in Hampshire, England.

The brass cuff measures 1.5" tall and 5.5" round with an opening of 1.5", easily adjustable by using slight pressure once on your wrist. The brass (an alloy of zinc and copper) ages beautifully and uniquely; it will change patina over time and this is completely natural. The artwork I use is slightly translucent and the patterns you see are from the patina of the brass underneath. All protected under a sealant for extra durability but I would advise NOT to go rushing into the sea whilst wearing it or similar interactions with water.

This piece is handmade in England, United Kingdom so please allow 3-5 days before it can be shipped....things have to dry !

Arrives wrapped in non-tarnish tissue paper, gift boxed and tied with organza ribbon, completely gorgeous for gift-giving.

Artist Description:  A lovely green and terracotta orange colored felt "leaf" brooch embellished with pieces of brass zipper.  I used a warm yellow and green felt in this brooch. The approx dimensions of the brooch are 1 1/2" x 3 ". The leaf brooch is light weight and quite firm. A great accessory for any ensemble.
