Kimono Pleat dress

Artist Statement: This dress if from my recent fall/winter collection. I was deeply inspired by japanese design in this collection - leading me to sleeves with wide drape and long rectangular "runners" that cascade down the front of the garment.

This dress is a lovely balance of volume and tailored. The bodice is a large rectangle gathered with six small pleats along the bust and 3/4 length kimono sleeves with thick folded hems. The skirt is fitted with darts and falls to the knee, again with a thick hemline. French seams throughout interior of garment.

The pleated runner falls from neckline past hemline, giving this dress very unique detail. This dress can be casual or formal - a great staple that can be worn again and again. Made ouf of a beautiful gun metal linen.

This dress is made to order and is available in a size run of xsmall, small, medium, large, and xlarge.
