Coneflower Earrings

Artist Statement: Thank you for checking out my jewelry!

Making this jewelry is, more or less, just an excuse for me to play with colors. With a background in painting and ceramics, and a passion for jewelry, I have found a way to incorporate painting with jewelry through the colored resins. All of the colors are hand-mixed using lightfast artist pigments, and no two pieces ever come out quite the same.

The graphic quality found in my work stems from the singular, raw moment of seeing something for the first time; but they are also inspired by the elegance that can be found only by distilling something down to its simplest form.

These earrings are 1" wide and 1 1/4" long. Each piece is sterling silver with hand-pigmented resin inlay, and comes in an embossed crimson gift box.
