Wonderfully poufy fairy ball gown

Artist Statement: Whew! what to say. this puppy is gorgeous, the neetest fabric i had found, and it was a blast to make! the whole costume consists of two fabrics, that coordinate together. the first is the blue/magenta irridescent crinkle that makes up the skirt and the base of the bodice. then the extra full skirt is covered with a layer of the sparkling and crinkled irridescent organza. this fabric is so neat, the pictures don't quite catch the metallic glimmer these fabrics have! The corset bodice is boned with spring steel, and is v-d in front, with a gather of the organza over the bust. the organza on the bodice is accented with 'volcano' austrian crystals, this crazy red/blue/purple color for some glitz. the bodice laces up in back. the skirt is caught up into tucks with royal blue ribbons all over the skirt.

the skirt on this set is two elastic waistbands, which could be replaced with drawstrings. they would accomodate up to a 50 inch waist. The hem is extra long to accomodate a really tall person, even in a large hoop skirt (as the picture shows). The bodice is sized for a size 8-12.
