Scrumbling is a wonderful fibre technique in which you join up pieces of knitting, crochet, embroidery, felting and then maybe you add a few beads and things on top. Mostly, however, its heavily based on very good colour theory work and textural considerations. I had the privilege of meeting a master in the work a couple of years ago at a craft show. Scrumbling is normally used to make clothing or wraps, bedspreads and scarves.
Winter Greys, above, won a seasonally themed craft challenge and was made by Nancilyn.
